Frequently asked questions

What Markets QA checks, what it deliberately does not do, and how monitoring works.

What does Markets QA check?

Markets QA compares each selected Shopify Market with a baseline you approve. It checks market activity, currency, product publication and counts, fixed-price coverage, and web presence.

Does Markets QA change my store?

No. Markets QA uses read-only Shopify access. It does not edit products, prices, markets, themes, orders, customers, or checkout.

How often are checks run?

Free checks one selected market weekly. Starter and Growth check selected markets daily. Each plan also includes a daily allowance for manual scans.

What is an approved baseline?

It is the expected configuration you confirm after a discovery scan. Later scans compare the current Shopify data with that immutable reference so the app can show exactly what changed.

What happens when something changes?

The affected market is marked for review. Markets QA records the approved and latest values, keeps the result in scan history, and can send one email when an issue opens or resolves.

Can I hide an intentional difference?

Yes. Ignore a difference that is expected, or snooze it for 24 hours while it is being investigated. Approve a new baseline when the expected market configuration itself has changed.

Does it test storefronts or checkout from other countries?

No. Markets QA checks configuration returned by Shopify's read-only APIs. It does not run browser, geolocation, tax, shipping, translation, uptime, or checkout tests.

How do I change or cancel a plan?

Open Markets QA Settings and choose View plans. Shopify handles plan approval, upgrades, downgrades, billing, and cancellation without a support request or reinstall.

How do I get help?

Send one request through the support page with your store domain, the affected market, and what you expected to see. Markets QA Support replies asynchronously within one business day.
