Terms of service
Service provider
Markets QA is operated by Rory Hayes, based in Dublin, Ireland. You can contact the service provider at roryh1@gmail.com.
Using the service
By installing or using Markets QA, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are authorized to act for the Shopify store. You must use the service lawfully and keep your Shopify account secure.
What Markets QA provides
Markets QA records a store's selected market configuration and compares later scans with that baseline. Findings are operational signals, not a guarantee that every storefront, currency, price, domain, or product is correct or continuously available.
You remain responsible for reviewing findings, testing customer-facing storefronts, and deciding whether to change Shopify settings.
Plans and payment
Free and paid limits are shown in the app and on our website. Paid subscriptions are approved, charged, changed, and cancelled through Shopify. Taxes, refunds, and billing timing are handled according to Shopify's platform rules and the plan terms shown at approval.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass service security;
- use the service to violate another person's rights or law;
- resell access without written permission; or
- misrepresent scan results as a certification or warranty.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable, but scans or alerts may be delayed by maintenance, provider incidents, rate limits, or Shopify changes. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice when a material change affects a paid plan.
Ownership and feedback
Markets QA and its software, design, and documentation remain ours. You retain ownership of your store data. You allow us to process that data only as needed to provide and protect the service. Feedback may be used to improve Markets QA without obligation.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Markets QA by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk, or non-payment, and will use reasonable efforts to provide notice when circumstances allow.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every issue will be found. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss where that limitation is permitted. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in the six months before the event giving rise to that claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms, except where applicable mandatory law requires otherwise.
Contact and updates
Questions about these terms can be submitted through our support page or emailed to roryh1@gmail.com. If these terms change materially, the effective date above will be updated and notice will be provided where required.
